The Exerger WTU is an innovative thermal brine treatment and valorization system that addresses the challenge of managing brine waste from desalination and industrial processes. By utilizing advanced technologies such as multistage flash evaporation and controlled crystallization, the system is able to efficiently convert brine streams into reusable water and valuable mineral products.

Unlike traditional brine disposal methods that contribute to environmental pollution, the Exerger WTU enables Zero Liquid Discharge by recovering up to 99% of the input water and concentrating salts and minerals for commercial use. This not only reduces the environmental impact of industrial operations but also creates secondary revenue streams through the recovery of marketable materials like sodium chloride, potassium chloride, gypsum, and magnesium compounds.
