The Base Pro device measures floor-level WiFi occupancy and serves as a gateway for other sensors like Sahara for CO₂ and PM₂.₅ levels, Alpine for humidity/temperature monitoring, and X1 for desk-level presence detection. These sensors work together to collect live data, which is then transmitted to the LightFi portal or directly to a building’s BACnet-based Building Management System (BMS).
By leveraging this data, the platform enables automated ventilation control, adjusting airflow to increase fresh air in occupied spaces and reduce it in empty rooms. This dynamic approach not only leads to significant energy savings but also improves indoor air quality and reduces occupant complaints.
